GRAIN ROT PS5 Release Status
GRAIN ROT fits a co-op console audience, but no official source currently converts that fit into a PlayStation announcement.
Why a DualSense-style setup is not a port
PC controller support allows many gamepads to work through Steam. It does not show that the game has passed PlayStation certification, supports console networking or has a PS5 build. Input compatibility and platform availability are different facts.
Likewise, an online co-op architecture on PC does not confirm PlayStation Network integration or crossplay. Those features require their own announcement. Do not infer them from the genre.
There is no confirmed PS5 release date
No official date, window or roadmap item names PlayStation. The August roadmap focuses on PC content: Deep Layers in September and the Halloween update in October. Those updates should not be reinterpreted as console milestones.
Keep the answer current and link the official channels. Add a date only when the publisher does.
Where a PlayStation announcement would appear
A PlayStation release would appear in a developer or publisher announcement, on the PlayStation Store or in a platform showcase that names the game. Fan requests, controller icons and reseller placeholders do not announce a port.
If a PS5 version is announced, also check whether it includes crossplay, save transfer, trophies and a separate purchase. None of those can be assumed from the PC build. Each needs explicit confirmation.
How to follow official news
The developer page, Neem Interactive channel, official Discord and Steam news feed are the current primary sources. The publisher already uses those channels for trailers, patches and roadmaps. A console announcement should appear there or link to the platform store.
Avoid sites that present an unavailable platform page as a downloadable product. The official PC store is the only purchase link.
If a PlayStation version is announced
Until then, the correct answer is not announced. Rumors remain outside the factual section.
Questions an eventual PlayStation announcement must answer
If a PS5 edition is announced, verify the PlayStation Store product page before adding a release date or buy button. The announcement should identify region availability, price, online requirements, crossplay, save transfer and whether the console build launches with the same content version as Steam. Trophies, DualSense features and performance modes also need their own confirmation. None of those details follows automatically from full controller support in the existing PC edition.
A PC player may use a compatible gamepad through Steam, but that does not create a PlayStation license, PSN lobby or console save. Avoid unofficial downloads that claim to convert the game to PS5 and do not treat retailer placeholders as publisher announcements.
