What is GRAIN ROT?
GRAIN ROT is a first-person horror co-op extraction builder developed by Beck & Branch Games and published by Neem Interactive. Players control Living Sparks that possess fragile wooden vessels and ride a cursed elevator into procedurally shifting underground ruins.
Furniture can be smashed for resources or fed into the Grinder for gold, while successful hauls rebuild the persistent Outpost. A broken vessel releases its Spark instead of ending the run immediately, but an entire crew wipe loses unsecured loot.

The Deep Layers shift between runs, but the decision remains the same: secure a useful haul or risk losing it by pushing deeper. Successful extraction turns temporary loot into persistent Outpost progress.
When a wooden vessel breaks, the Living Spark can still search for a new host. A full crew loss ends the attempt and costs anything that was not already secured.
